What is cork screw shape?

A cork screw shape is a spiral or helix-shaped object that is designed to insert and remove corks from bottles of wine or other beverages. The shape of a corkscrew typically consists of a pointed screw or drill-like tip at one end, followed by a thin cylindrical or tapered shaft that widens into a thicker handle or grip at the other end. The spiral shape of the corkscrew allows it to easily penetrate and twist into the cork, providing a strong grip to pull the cork out once it has been loosened. The most common material used for corkscrews is metal, although some models feature plastic or wooden handles for comfort and style.
